Forgiving.

I mean, holy shit. For those of you who are Christian\other religion, I'm pretty damn sure "FORGIVE" is a main point in your religions. For the others who are atheists, like myself, THAT IS STILL A GOOD FUCKING LESSON.

I mean, it's been what, a month or two, and we are still having petty disputes with GmodSauce? What the hell is wrong with all of you. Yesterday I went and played on the GmodSauce server. Yes, I went and *gasp*, PLAYED ON THE GMODSAUCE SERVER.

Oh god I'm a traitor burn me.

No, see, it's because I've forgiven everyone there, and everyone here, for all the bullshit drama and other bullshit they've caused. And yet the rest of you still seem to be stuck up assholes (on both sides). Learn to fucking forgive and, if needed to sleep at night, FORGET. It's not like any of us committed genocide. At *most* you all threw insults back and forth, so holy shit, by whatever power\force\thing you believe in, FUCKING LEARN TO FORGIVE.

This bullshit has got to end. Man up and learn to make friends of your enemies. Yes, it's possible. And in the end, you might actually find you are better friends than before. Tricky knows how to forgive people. I know how to forgive people. Zeos knows how to forgive people. USMC knows how to forgive people. Noone else here seems to know how to forgive people. Aberneth is still taking potshots at Smith where ever he can.

LEARN. TO. FORGIVE.

I propose something to end this petty dispute once and for all and maybe bring strength and life back to this community.

Hey guys, (and gals)

It seems as if I have not posted here in ages, I have been watching from afar and just keeping an eye on things while the staffers keep everything running smoothly, and for that they should get high acclaim from all the members along with myself. I truly thank everyone that has been keeping up and tweaking the needed sections to have TT.com still running.

Lately I just have not had the time nor the resources to sit on my computer as much as I would like, I am currently starting my training for firefighter school and had to kick a lot of my old habits in order to keep fit and have some fun. Inactivity was doing damage to my body and my mind, I was unemployed for awhile there and found myself getting bored of life and where it was headed. I found that summer can be very enjoyable if one breaks free of his computer confines and runs around in the grass for a bit. Get rid of the social confines of self-consciousness, and just go out and enjoy the weather, the stars and the storms. Yet with this new found freedom I feel I have missed out on countless memories on the vent with all the regulars, or epic conversations on the forums.

I have recently got a job out at one of the local salt mines and have been working a 7-10 (7 days a week, 10 hour days) and just have not had enough energy to go out and be sociable and come home and play video games. I am a firm believer that you can enjoy life if you wait for it to come to you, but I know now that it can be much more enjoyable to (cliche alert) SEIZE THE DAY! Look at me trying to be philosophical, all I am trying to say is sometimes you can forget what is outside when you spend so much time starting into a screen.

In other topics, I found a podcast that is worthy of every one of your ears. The Skeptics Guide to the Universe, it is an amazing conversational skeptics meeting where they debunk and discuss new scientific falsities and teach ways of critical thinking. They have just over 150 episodes and each is a gem. Some of the older work is more focused on the debunking, but as they go through they teach excellent ways of thinking about situations in a critical and informative way. At first it can seem a little dry, but as it goes on, you will get hooked. I have been listening to it the last few days and it is teaching me how to take information and sort it out for logical decisions, rather than emotional or authoritative.

If nothing just go and check out the Top 20 Logical Fallacies, this is a great way to see right through shoddy information.

Other than that, I have just been out at the beach, walking around on a slack lines,I am here for good time, not a long time.

I have updated the rank system again. I have remade all of the images, expanded ranks, and hopefully made it easier for people to tell where they fall in the post hierarchy. It is an expansive list, to say the least. 23 ranks, each with a unique image. We set the bar pretty high for general levels, and this system should tell you who's been around for a good long while, and who hasn't yet been house broken.



Well, you've managed to read the whole list of ranks or scan it at least. You'll notice that every rank except for general ranks has a letter and number in parenthesis. E stands for enlisted, O stands for officer.
